THE INTRIGUE

Colors of Emotion is a collection of thirty double-sided illustrations created from the mind of a genius.  Mercedes Segesvary's images are drawn all from the artist's memory and imagination. 

The commonality of incomplete angles and opened/closed eyes leads the viewer into a desire to understand the soul behind the mask. 

Viewing these illustrations stirs the question: Am I more interested to know what they are thinking or what they are feeling?

THE WISDOM

Individual illustrations in Colors of Emotion are a mix of charcoal pencils, oil and chalk pastels, prisma-colors and watercolor pens.  The collection extends a total of 30 illustrations and has been exhibited in San Francisco. 

The 30 illustrations are all double sided with one side having a face with eyes open and the other side having the same face with eyes closed.
